Attended a birthday dinner. Hotel is tastefully decorated, cosy and inviting. Service was impeccable - friendly and welcoming. Great selection of delicious, freshly-prepared food, including a good vegan selection. Hard to see how anything could be improved I first stayed here in 1975 and it has always been of a very high standard.
The staff at this hotel are its shining star. They were amazingly accommodating with my disorganized booking, helpful with questions and the service was second to none. The rooms were adequate and the beds comfortable. Tasty breakfast too!
Always very happy to be in the Laichmoray, great staff and great food.
My only whinge is that the GF menu isn't that big but the food is terrific and worth every penny. Always clean and warm and cozy and the staff make an effort to remember there regulars.

Professional well trained and friendly staff all round.
Cocktail list is extensive but they even will do off the menu cocktails to please their customers.
Can always guarantee a good atmosphere.
Arrived @ very short notice having booked into another hotel nearby that turned out a disastrous !! Was warmly welcomed by staff @ Laichmoray who all couldn't of been more helpful & professional. Room was spotless & comfy with immaculate en suite.Great private beer garden. & restaurant. Food delicious. Less than 10 minutes from town centre & literally 2 minutes from train station. Would definitely recommend.
Very welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay.

We didn't stay in the hotel, we had an early dinner for our anniversary, a really nice-looking building, we ate in the conservatory with doors open, to let a breeze in, gorgeous flowers on the windows and a lovely garden area. I was a bit disappointed with the vegan options, i chose the spinach and pumpkin burger, but it was just like two burgers from tesco between a white bun and lettuce. Then, only soup on offer was chicken. At least a vegan/vegetarian option would be nice to offer non meat eaters. The coconut ice cream was delicious, and my husband really enjoyed his haddock and bakewell tart profiteroles for dessert. Really friendly staff and attentive. We do recommend it, and hopefully, next time, some more options for us non meat eaters.
